The Raywood to Eaglehawk service runs on Tuesday’s and Fridays departing Raywood at 9.30 and arriving in Eaglehawk at 10.00am where it will connect to normal Bendigo Buses. On the return journey the bus will depart Eaglehawk at 2.48 and arrive back in Raywood at 3.20pm. There will also be an extended service on Saturdays and during school holidays.
The trial will operate until June 2010 and will be integrated with the Bendigo urban bus network. As part of the initiative additional V/Line stops have been introduced in Sebastian and Woodvale as part of the weekly, Thursday V/Line Swan Hill to Bendigo service.
If the trial be deemed a success, an application to the Department of Transport will be made to make the service permanent.
B-Line is funded through the Victorian Government's Transport Connections program, a cross government initiative to help communities work together to improve local transport. The project is a partnership between the City of Greater Bendigo and the Shire of Loddon.
